Christopher Sly昀椀eld
Director
Mr. Sly昀椀eld is a Director with Precise Systems and has
been solely working on Open Architecture programs for the
last 14 years.
Originally supporting UK programs including UK/Fr
European Component Oriented Architecture (ECOA),
Advanced Mission System Demonstrations and
Experimentation to Realise Integrated System Concepts
(AMS DE-RISC), PYRAMID and Future Combat Air System
(FCAS), he was also the proposer and Chairman (on behalf
of UK MOD) of NATO SCI-307 Framework for Avionics
Mission Systems (FAMOS), and has been a technical representative for both UK and US Government organizations
in the Collaborative Open Systems Architecture (COSA)
bi-lateral Project Arrangement. Since 2018, Mr. Sly昀椀eld has
been a Precise Systems SME and supports NAVAIR with
Open Architecture expertise.
Jason Morris
Senior Principal Engineer
Mr. Morris is a Senior Principal Engineer at Precise
Systems with over 22 years of combined DOD weapons
systems experience as Active Duty Navy, US Government
Civil Service, and Contractor Support. He has been
working Open Architecture as part of NAVAIR PMA-209 Air
Combat Electronics Program Of昀椀ce since 2011. In 2013,
as a US Government Systems Engineer, Mr. Morris was the
very 昀椀rst Lead Engineer for the creation of the Hardware
Open Systems Technologies (HOST) Standard that is currently being managed by NAVAIR PMA-209. Since 2016,
Mr. Morris has been a Precise Systems SME and supports
NAVAIR with Open Architecture expertise.
